In 2005 , the united united  adopted an announcement to prohibit all types of human cloning ( reproductive and therapeutic) as it is contradicted with human degnity and for protection of human life and this announcement is respected around the global .
So human cloning is illegal and to date no human clone have been born but that doesn't mean that it will stay that way

In 2008, researchers successfully created the first five human embryos using (SCNT) where the nucleuse of a somatic cell from a donor is transplanted into a host egg cell and allowed to duplicate till blastocyst stage but then it is destroyed

Also human cloning is more difficult than cloning other mammals because there are 2 spindle proteins , they are located very close to the chromosomes in primate eggs , consequently, removal of the eggs nucleuse to make room fir the donor nucleuse causes the removal of the spindle proteins interfering with the cell division
But in
